I’m sure you are all getting ready for the NM State Fair and the Day at the Races. I encourage all youth to attend the Day at the Races scheduled for October 9, starting at 10 a.m. This is a great educational experience as well as one filled with opportunities that are unavailable to people outside the racing industry. It should be a fun-filled day! Youth are welcome to bring friends and family who are also interested. Please RSVP to Tj Riddle and include the number of guests you plan to bring. Remember, the youth are selling beef raffle tickets. They are $1 a ticket. Youth will be selling them at the State Fair. The drawing will be at the convention in December. Keep selling them! More tickets are available if you run out. Prizes will be given to the youth who sell the most tickets and the youth(s) who sell the winning 2 tickets. Periodic prizes between now and December will be given to entice the youth to sell more tickets.
