The dates for the New Mexico State Fair Quarter Horse Show are September 17, 18 & 19, 2010.  Friday will be a single day show and 18th & 19th will be a split combined.  Make plans now to attend the ‘greatest show on earth’…

Come join in the fun at the NM Futurity show to be held on Saturday, September 18, 2010, during the NMSF.

If you would like to send your entries electronically, you MUST download the version of Adobe Acrobat provided on the bottom of this page.  You must download this version BEFORE you complete the entry form.

The New Mexico Quarter Horse Association (NMQHA) shall promote and encourage interest in the breeding, racing, showing, and any and all other general uses of the American Quarter Horse within the State of New Mexico as are supported by members of the Association.

President's Message

Happy Summer to all,
                        The Land of Enchantment is in the full bloom of summer and I am really enjoying the long days.  Here we are again at that time of year when you need to ride early in the day or in the evening to escape the extreme heat.  Except for you hearty few who don’t seem to be bothered by the heat, lucky you!
                        NMQHA has put the web site to great use this year and the response has been positive.  So positive in fact, that the board of directors has decided to use the web as our main means of communication.  Our central office phone has been disconnected and you will need to contact us using the information provided on the web site.  Our mailing address has also changed so be sure to make note of that for any future written communications.
                        These changes are made as part of our main goal which is to keep our organization operating in the most efficient and technologically current manner possible.  We constantly strive to offer our members and exhibitors a positive experience in all of their horse activities which involve NMQHA.
